Angola, Indiana Using Clear Vision Media’s 360-Degree Tech to Boost Development
Clear Vision Media has used its technology in other communities such as downtown Fort Wayne.
ANGOLA -The city of Angola has contracted Warsaw-based Clear Vision Media to give a unique look at key economic and community development sites. The company will use its panoramic virtual reality technology to create 360-degree views of locations, including downtown Angola and the site of a proposed technology park near Interstate 69.
The city says the technology will help attract potential investors, businesses, new residents, and visitors. Users will be able to view a 360-degree image of each location and zoom into businesses, organizations and other specific locations, which could have their own 360-degree view as well.
Users will have access to technology on a variety of electronic devices, including smartphones. “A Virtual Angola will not only give the city a distinctive promotional platform but also gives businesses and organizations a chance to promote themselves using leading-edge technology,” Downtown Services Coordinator Maria Davis said in a news release. The project is expected to be complete later this summer.
Similar technology has been used for other locations within Steuben County, such as Pokagon State Park. Clear Vision Media has used its technology for other Indiana communities, including Fort Wayne, Grabill and Auburn. Contact us for more information on 360 tech.
