“We Are the Chamber”, a community-wide video project from Clear Vision Media in partnership with the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce won the Indiana Chamber Executive Association’s award for Innovative Excellence. The Annual Innovative Excellence Awards recognize innovative new projects undertaken by Indiana chambers within the preceding year. Excellence in innovative new ideas was the focus for the 2021 Annual Awards.

Clear Vision Media and the Chamber’s shared goal was to create a community video showcasing the members of the chamber, industries, and community of Syracuse, IN. To debut the video, the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce rented out the Pickwick Theater. Mercedes Sanchez was the lead videographer and producer on this project, capturing the beauty and appeal of Syracuse with the help of her sister, Alexandria Sanchez. 

“We saw the power of visual storytelling through media come alive for the town of Syracuse,” said Mercedes Sanchez.  Renea Salyer, Chamber Director, raised the funds to produce the video through small business sponsors including Clear Vision Media. “Clear Vision Media took our vision and brought it to life to tell our story in Syracuse. The video is designed to be an economic development tool, assisting us in growing our community and the Chamber membership body. The Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber is nothing without the community and our member businesses. Together ‘We are the Chamber!’” said Salyer. 

Clear Vision Media and Salyer worked together on the project to produce this fantastic video which encompasses multiple businesses and highlights the Syracuse area. This video also won a National Communicator Award. The Communicator Awards is a leading international awards program recognizing excellence in communication across a broad spectrum of industries, championing effective and meaningful work.
